Actor Banita Sandhu has been cast in the upcoming Goodachari sequel, G2, starring actor Adivi Sesh in the lead role, the makers of the film announced on social media on Monday.

G2 is the sequel to the 2018 action thriller film Goodachari. The film is backed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal of People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts respectively. G2 is directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi.

"It is a role unlike anything I've ever done before and I can't wait for audiences to see me in a completely fresh avatar. Working on this movie will be a creative delight for me," Banita said in a statement. The actor was seen in films like Adithya Varma, October and was last seen in Sardar Udham.

The shooting of G2 is set to begin soon.
