Actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi got married on November 1 at a destination wedding that took place in Borgo San Felice resort, Tuscany, Italy. The pre-wedding festivities, which included a cocktail party, haldi and mehendi, took place from October 30 onwards.

The bride and the groom wore a red Kanchipuram saree and a cream gold sherwani, designed by Manish Malhotra. They were styled by Ashwin Mawle and Hassan Khan. The wedding  was an intimate affair, with the family and friends in close attendance. 

Varun Tej's father Naga Babu shared the first photo of the couple after their nuptials, writing, "Your blessings are earnestly sought for the newly-married couple, Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Konidela." Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has shared a picture of the couple with  himself, Naga Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, Vaisshnav Tej and Sai Dharam Tej, writing, "...And thus they embarked together on a new love filled journey. Starry wishes for the newest star couple." 

Varun Tej and Lavanya met during the filming of Mister (2017). They also worked together in Antariksham 9000KMPH in 2018 and starting dating around the same time. They got engaged on June 9 this year.
