Rakul Preet Singh-led Boo gets release date

On Tuesday, the makers of Rakul Preet Singh-led Boo announced that the film will premiere on Jio Cinema on May 27. The makers also released the trailer of the film along with the announcement. The film is helmed by Vijay. 

The trailer starts by showing a group of girls including Rakul Preet Singh, Vidyullekha Raman and a few others reading ghost stories. We then see Nivetha Pethuraj moving into a new house. As she starts getting hiccups, she comes in contact with spirits in the house. Boo's tagline reads, "The next time you get a hiccup don’t look for water, look around, it could be a ghost."

Boo also stars Megha Akash, Manjima Mohan, Reba Monica John, and Vishwak Sen. With music by GV Prakash the film has Sandeep K Vijay as the cinematographer. The film is backed by Jyoti Deshpande, Ramanjaneyulu Javvaji, and M Raja Shekhar Reddy. Anil Jain and Rakesh Jain have co-produced the film. The film will be released in Telugu as well as Tamil.
