Bichhagadu 2, the sequel to Vijay Antony's superhit Bichhagadu, is set to release on May 19. The actor is now doing the promotional rounds in the Telugu states. In a recent media interaction, the actor was asked who could have been a better fit for the lead role in Bichagadu, and he said a rather interesting answer. 

"Mahesh Babu would have been well-suited for the Telugu version, and someone like Vijay or Ajith would have been suitable for Tamil viewers," said Vijay Antony. 

The answer has surely stunned Mahesh Babu fans as they are wondering if the powerful superstar would ever take up such a role.

While this film isn't a direct sequel to Bichagadu, Vijay Antony reveals that there is a bichhagadu connect in the sequel.
