The Telugu movie Virupaksha, Starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyukta Menon is all set to premiere on Netflix on May 21, the streamer announced on Tuesday. 

Billed as a mystery horror film, Virupaksha is directed by Karthik Varma Dandu. The film is penned by Sukumar, who also has big names in his credit, including the colossal hit Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun. Virupaksha was released in theatres on April 21 and opened to positive reviews. 

Virupaksha collected close to Rs 70 crore in the Telugu-speaking states, and it collected Rs 62.5 crore in its first seven days. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad and Manish Shah.

Kannada music director B Ajaneesh Loknath, who has notably scored for films like Kantara and Ulidavaru Kandanthe has composed the music for Virupaksha. Shamdat, the cinematographer of Uppena is helming the camera for the film, with Navin Nooli providing the film's editing.
