The teaser of Vimanam, an upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual, was unveiled on Saturday. The film is written and directed by Siva Prasad Yanala. Hanu Ravuri writes the Telugu dialogues of Vimanam, while Prabhakar pens the Tamil lines.

The film revolves around a young boy's dream of flying in an aeroplane. It stars Samuthirakani and Master Dhruvan in the lead roles, along with Meera Jasmine, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rahul Ramakrishna, Dhanraj and Naan Kadavul Rajendran. The film marks Meera Jasmine's return to the Telugu film industry after over a decade.

The teaser of Vimanam introduces us to a father-son duo and the latter's love towards his father and aeroplanes. Showing glimpses of its supporting cast against a rousing background score, the viewers get a sense that the film is a slice-of-life film with heartfelt emotional moments alongside some comedy.

Kiran Korrapati and Zee Studios are jointly producing Vimanam. Veena Korrapati is co-producing the film. The technical crew includes cinematographer Vivek Kalepu, editor Marthand K Venkatesh and production designer JK Murthy.

Samuthirakani is also currently directing the Telugu adaptation of his Tamil directorial Vinodaya Sitham. The remake, tentatively titled PKSDT, stars Sai Dharam Tej and Pawan Kalyan.
