 Dead Pixels trailer out 

 The web series will be streaming on Disney + Hotstar from May 19 onwards

We have earlier reported that Dead Pixels, a BBC original series, is going to get a Telugu adaptation by Hyderabad based-media company Tamada Media. The official trailer of the eponymous Telugu remake was released by the makers on Tuesday. The series is jointly produced by BBC Studios India and Tamada Media.

Dead Pixels will narrate the story of four young folks from Hyderabad and how their obsession for a video game takes over their life. The series will star Niharika Konidela as Gayathri, Akshay Lagusani as Bhargav, Viva Harsha as Anand, Sai Ronak as Roshan and Bhavana Sagi as Aishwarya. The series has a love triangle between the characters of Gayathri, Bhargav and Roshan. Rajeev Kanakala, Bindu Chandramouli and Jayashree Rachakonda will also appear in the series, in prominent supporting roles. 

The adapted screenplay of Dead Pixels is written by Akshay Poolla, with Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma-fame director Aditya Mandala helming the series. Fahad Abdul Majeed is the cinematographer of Dead Pixels, with editing by Srujana Adusumilli and music direction done by Sidhartha Sadasivuni. Dead Pixels will be available for streaming from May 19 on Disney + Hotstar.
