The official trailer of Bhuvana Vijayam, a comedy film headlined by actor Sunil, was released by the makers on Tuesday. The film is directed by debutant filmmaker Yalamanda Charan. The film also stars Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy, Dhanraj, Goparaju Ramana and Harsha Chemudu in principal roles. Bhuvana Vijayam is all set to hit theatres on May 12.

The trailer introduces a motley group of characters, including Sunil as the film’s hero, a paranoid astrology-obsessed producer, played by Goparaju Ramana, a motley bunch of eight writers who cannot stand each other, a thief (Harsha Chemudu), a madman (Vennela Kishore), a distressed father and a ghost. The film, which comes across as a throwback to 80s and 90s-style ensemble comedies, is going to have elements of horror and mythology, in addition to comedy.

Bhuvana Vijayam is produced by P Uday Kiran and V Srikanth, under the banners Himalaya Studio Mansions and Mirth Media. The film’s music is composed by Sekhar Chandra, alongside cinematography by Sai and editing provided by Chota K Prasad.
