The much awaited NTR 30 film, helmed by Koratala Siva was launched on Thursday in Hyderabad with a muhurtham pooja. The fucntion was attended by the film’s leads NTR Jr and Janhvi Kapoor, along with Koratala Siva, music composer Anirudh and other key cast and crew members. Actors Prakash Raj and Srikanth, who are presumably a part of the film, have also graced the location. The muhurtham pooja of NTR 30 was initially delayed due to the untimely demise of NTR Jr’s cousin Taraka Rathna, who breathed his last on February 18.

The chief guests of the muhurtham pooja were directors SS Rajamouli and Prashanth Neel, who gave the first ceremonial clap and directed the first shot respectively. It may be noted that Rajamouli is the director of NTR Jr’s last film RRR while Prashanth Neel is the director of NTR Jr’s next film, which is expected to go on floors post the production of NTR 30. Janhvi Kapoor will be making her South cinema debut with NTR 30

NTR 30 is poised to be an action drama supposedly set in a fictional island or port city. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. NTR 30 reunites director Koratala Siva with NTR Jr after Janata Garage (2016). The film is produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Harikrishna K through Yuvasudha Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under his banner NTR Arts. The film’s key technical crew comprises of cinematographer Rathnavelu, along with editor A Sreekar Prasad and production designer Sabu Cyril.
