The makers of Selfish, Ashish Reddy's second film, have released a new look of the actor, while extending their Ugadi wishes. In the film’s recent poster, we see Ashish in a white shirt and red pants, along with a message, “A selfish hero who wants life’s sweetness but not life’s sourness and bitterness. Team Selfish wishes everyone a very Happy Ugadi.”

Selfish is jointly produced by Dil Raju-Sirish and Sukumar, under their banners Sri Venkateshwara Creations and Sukumar Writings respectively. 

The film is directed by debutant Kasi Vishal, a longtime associate of Sukumar. The film’s technical crew includes S Manikandan as the cinematographer, and editor Prawin Pudi. 

Ashish Reddy, the nephew of producer Dil Raju, made his debut as an actor with the 2022 film Rowdy Boys, where he starred opposite Anupama Parameswaran. The film, a college drama set in a medical and an engineering college, was written and directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti. 

Sukumar Writings is currently awaiting the release of their upcoming film Virupaksha, which stars Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha. Virupaksha is releasing on April 23.
