Sridevi Shoban Babu, a romantic comedy starring Santosh Shoban and Gouri G Kishan in lead roles, gets an OTT release. The film, which was released on February 18, will be streaming on Hotstar from March 30 onwards. Sridevi Shoban Babu is the maiden production venture of costume designer Sushmita Konidela, who is also the older daughter of actor Chiranjeevi. The film was originally supposed to release on April 14, 2022, but was delayed for 10 months.

Sridevi Shoban Babu, also starring Nagababu and Rohini Molleti in supporting roles revolves around first cousins Sridevi and Shoban Babu, played by Santosh Shoban and Gouri G Kishan, who meet in Araku to fight over the contested property that belonged to their common grandfather, only to fall in love. Sridevi Shoban Babu is written and directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala, who has earlier directed Bloody Mary, an Aha original film starring Nivetha Pethuraj and Shit Happens (2020), an Aha original web series.

The music of the film is composed by Kamran with Siddharth Ramaswamy and Shashidhar Reddy serving as cinematographer and editor of the film respectively.
