Filmmaker Damodara, who made his directorial debut in 2021 with the comedy thriller Pushpaka Vimanam has announced his sophomore film, which has been titled Kanyakumari. 

The film stars Sricharan Rachakonda and Geeth Saini in lead roles. Geeth Saini has earlier worked with Damodara in Pushpaka Vimanam.

Slated to be a romantic entertainer set in the rural areas of Srikakulam, Kanyakumari is produced by Damodara, along with Satish Reddy, Variniya Mamudi and Siddharth A under the banner Radical Pictures. The final schedule of the film is currently in progress and the makers are expected to announce Kanyakumari’s release date soon. They recently unveiled a poster from the film. 

The music of Kanyakumari is composed by Sahitya Sagar, the film has cinematography by Siva Gajula and editing by Naresh Adupa.
