We know that actor Vijay Devarakonda's VD12 has been developing in pre-production. The latest update is that the film's shooting commenced on Friday. Makers announced the news through their social media handles. 

By announcing the commencement of the shoot, the makers released a poster where Vijay Devarakonda is seen holding a gun pointed towards the camera. The focus is on the gun while his face remains blurred in the background.

VD12 is directed by Jersey-fame Goutham Tinnanuri. The film stars Sree Leela as the female lead. Produced by Sithara Entertainments, and Fortune Four Cinemas, VD12 has music composed by  Anirudh Ravichander. It may be noted that Goutham has previously collaborated with Anirudh and Sithara Entertainments for Jersey, which starred Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles.

The technical team of the film comprises Girish Gangadharan as the cinematographer and Navin Nooli as the editor. 

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda's next release will be Kushi, slated for a release on September 1
