Earlier it was reported that actor Vijay Deverakonda will reunite with his Geetha Govindam director Parasuram Petla for his next, tentatively titled VD13. 

The latest update is that the film was officially launched on Wednesday. Backed by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur. The filming for VD13 will commence soon. 

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda, last seen in Liger, has two projects in the pipeline, including Kushi, directed by Shiva Nirvana, and VD12, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.

On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur, last seen in Gumraah, has a slew of projects in the pipeline, including Lust Stories 2, Pooja Meri Jaan, Pippa Radha, Aankh Micholi and Nani 30.
