Bhagavanth Kesari, Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming action entertainer will be releasing on October 19. While the film releasing on Dasara is common knowledge, the release date was made official on Saturday afternoon.

Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is produced by Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens. The film also stars actors Kajal Aggarwal and Sree Leela. Arjun Rampal is also featuring in the film in a negative role, making his Telugu debut with Bhagavanth Kesari. Balakrishna plays the titular role of Nelakonda Bhagavanth Kesari, a Telangana man in the film. 

The music for Bhagavanth Kesari is scored by S Thaman. 

It may be noted that the Boyapati Sreenu-Ram Pothineni film Skanda was originally supposed to release on October 22 on occasion of Dasara but their release was preponed to September 15. While Skanda will be releasing at the same time as Tillu Square, the sequel of DJ Tillu, Tiger Nageshwara Rao, which is expected to release on October 20, will be Telugu Film Industry's second Dasara release after Bhagavanth Kesari. Bhagavanth Kesari and Tiger Nageshwara Rao will be facing stiff competition on the theatrical front from the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial Leo, which will be releasing on October 19.
