On Saturday, filmmaker Parasuram Petla took to Twitter to announce that his upcoming film with Vijay Deverakonda, tentatively titled VD 13, has gone on floors. 

On Twitter, the director wrote, "The fun part of filmmaking begins today! Shoot goes on floors. Sankranthi is going to be incredibly special!" 

VD13 is the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and the filmmaker after Geetha Govindam. Backed by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur.

Gopi Sundar, who has also composed music for Geetha Govindam, will be reuniting with Parsuram Petla and Vijay Devarakonda for VD 13. KV Mohanan is the cinematographer of the film with editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and production design by AS Prakash. Dil Raju and Shirish are the producers of the film.
