Nani 30, the upcoming film starring actor Nani in the lead role, has been titled Hi Nanna, the makers of the film announced on Wednesday while releasing the first glimpse video.

Hi Nanna stars Mrunal Thakur in her sophomore outing in Telugu cinema. Shruti Hassan will be making a cameo appearance in the film.

Though the film's concept was revealed to the viewers in the form of a concept video that was unveiled six months ago, that the film is primarily centred around a single father and his six year old daughter — the glimpse video adds a few more details to the same. We see Mrunal Thakur, who is presumably named Yashna, enter the frame and interact with Nani's daughter. We see Nani play the role of a filmmaker. There are glimpses of the film taking place in Goa and Mumbai. It may be noted that till date. Hi Nanna will see Nani play the role of a father for the second time in his career, after Goutam Tinnanuri's Jersey (2019). 

Hi Nanna is written and directed by first time filmmaker Shouryuv and produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala under the banner Vyra Entertainments. This film is music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab's second Telugu film after the Vijay Devarakonda - Samantha starrer Kushi. Sanu John Varghese is the cinematographer of Hi Nanna, with editing by Praveen Antony and production design by Avinash Kolla.
