On Monday, the makers of Salaar announced that the film's teaser will be out on July 6, 5:12 am. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has Prabhas in the lead role. 

Salaar is expected to hit theatres on September 28 this year. Salaar also stars Prithviraj, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, and Madhu Guruswamy in prominent roles. The film is backed by Hombale Films, the production house behind the KGF films and the recently released Kantara.

Salaar has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and music composed by Ravi Basrur. The film's dubbed version will release in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. 

Meanwhile, Prabhas was recently seen in Om Raut's Adipurush which has become subject to major controversies. He has Nag Ashwin's Project K and Maruthi Dasari's Raja Deluxe in his pipeline.
