The makers of Ravanasura, the upcoming film starring Ravi Teja, released the first glimpse on Thursday, marking the occasion of the actor's birthday. 

Billed as an action-thriller, the film will hit the big screens on April 7. Directed by Sudheer Varma, the film is backed by Abhishek Nama’s Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks. In Ravanasura, Ravi Teja plays the role of a lawyer. In the first glimpse, the actor looks dapper in a black and white suit. The video offers flashes of bloodshed, Ravi Teja smoking a cigar, and a girl killed by an anonymous person.

Srikanth Vissa has penned the story for Ravanasura. The technical crew includes music composers Harshavardhan Rameswar and Bheems, cinematographer Vijay Kartik Kannan and editor Srikanth. Ravanasura also features Sushanth, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar, Poojitha Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Nitin Mehta, Satya, Jaya Prakash, among others. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja, last seen in Waltair Veerayya, will be next seen in Tiger Nageswara Rao.
