We earlier reported that the release of Butta Bomma, starring Anika Surendran, Arjun Das and Surya Vashistta, has been rescheduled to February 4.

Now the latest update is that the film's trailer will be out on Saturday. It will be released by actor-director Vishwak Sen. Directed by Shouree Chandrasekhar T Ramesh, Butta Bomma is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film's technical crew includes music composer Gopi Sundar, cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu, editor Naveen Nooli and art director Vivek Annamalai. Ganesh Ravuri has provided dialogues for the film.

Butta Bomma is the Telugu remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film Kappela (2020), which starred Roshan Mathew, Anna Ben and Sreenath Bhasi. It was about a telephonic romance between an auto-rickshaw driver and a village girl.
