Manchu Manoj announces his next

The film will be directed by debutant Varun

Manchu Manoj who had taken a sabbatical from acting since 2018, is back with a new project.
The actor announced on Friday that he will be headlining a new film titled What The Fish.

While sharing a teaser poster of the film, Manoj wrote, "It's been a long time since I did any film but I’m blessed to have had all your love upon me all these years and it’s high time to give back all the love. Here’s announcing my next, What The Fish. A crazy film that’ll give you all a crazy experience."

The film, with a tagline Manam Manam Barampuram, will be directed by Varun. According to reports, What the Fish will be a mix of dark comedy and family entertainer and will be extensively shot in Canada. The makers are yet to announce further details related to cast and crew. What the Fish will be bankrolled by 6ix Cinemas.

Manoj was supposed to make his comeback with a pan-India film titled Aham Brahmasmi but there has been no update on the progress of the film yet. Manoj's last film as the lead was Okkadu Migiladu (2017). He was last seen in a cameo in Operation 2019, starring Srikanth, in 2018.
