We had earlier reported that Prabhas is teaming up with Maruthi for a horror-comedy titled Raja Deluxe. In an interview with us, the cinematographer of the film, Karthik Palani, revealed that the film will be an out-and-out commercial one. 

Speaking about Raja Deluxe, Karthik said, “This film is nothing like what Prabhas is doing right now. It is a very rooted film that will be a complete entertainer.” The film’s shooting reportedly began in December. Prabhas is speculated to play dual roles- one as the owner of an old cinema theatre and the other as a ghost.

Apart from Prabhas, Raja Deluxe will also feature three leading ladies who are speculated to be Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. According to reports, Boman Irani, who was last seen in Naa Peru Surya, will be playing Prabhas' grandfather in the film, while Sanjay Dutt is being considered for the antagonist part.
