RRR's Naatu Naatu has been in the news for bagging an award for Best Original Song- Motion Picture at the Golden Globes. RRR's Director SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan, who played the leads in the film, were present at the venue when the composer MM Keeravani won the award.

Prior to the award function, Jr NTR was spotted at the digital pre-show red carpet where he was candidly interviewed by Marc Malkin from Variety. When he was asked about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he said that he would love to do it and that he was waiting for it to happen. Revealing that his favourite Marvel superhero is Iron Man he remarked, “He’s so relatable. He is someone like us. He does not have superpowers. He doesn’t come from a different planet. He’s not someone who has been put through a science experiment to become the Hulk.”

The actor then shared that he trained rigorously for 18 months for his role as Bheem in RRR. He gained around 7 kg of muscle and ate seven meals a day to gain weight. Congratulating MM Keeravani for the win, Jr NTR wrote on Twitter, "Congratulations Sirji on your well-deserved Golden Globes award! I've danced to many songs throughout my career, but Naatu Naatu will forever stay close to my heart."
