We had reported earlier in February that filming of the Vinodhaya Sitham remake, tentatively titled PKSDT, starring Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej, had begun in Hyderabad. On Tuesday, the film's production house, People Media Factory took to Twitter to announce the primary cast of the Samuthirakani directorial.

The cast of the film includes veteran comedian Brahmanandam, Rohini Molleti, Ketika Sharma of Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga-fame, Tanikella Bharani, Subbaraju, Priya Prakash Warier and Raja Chembolu. The production house also stated in a tweet that the filming is progressing at a quick pace.

Released in 2021, Vinodhaya Sittham told the story of an ambitious middle-aged man (played by Thambi Ramaiah) who after meeting with a fatal accident, is given a chance by Time (Samuthirakani) to make up for his mistakes within a specific time. Sai Dharam Tej is expected to play the younger version of the character played by Thambi Ramaiah in the original.

PKSDT has music by Thaman S, who also scored for Pawan's Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak, and is produced by Vishwa Prasad.

In addition to this film, Sai Dharam has Virupaksha set to release on April 21. Pawan, on the other hand, has a film with Sujeeth, Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Harish Shankar and the long-awaited Krish Jagarlamudi directorial, Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
