The official teaser of Katha Venuka Katha was released on Friday. Gopichand Malineni, director of films like Krack and Veera Simha Reddy released the teaser.
The one-minute-long teaser opens with a young lad (Viswanth) narrating a crime tale to a character. He shares that several missing girls have been found dead, one after the other, over a period of one year. Sunil, playing a cop in the film, is also seen working on this case. The conversations between Vishwanath and Sunil, who play two people on opposite sides of the film, pivot the story forward.
The film stars Viswanth Duddumpudi, Srijitha Ghoush, and Subha Sri in lead roles. Katha Venuka Katha is written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya and produced by Dandamudi Avanindra Kumar, under their home banner Dandamudi Box Office. Katha Venuka Katha is their maiden feature.
Katha Venuka Katha also stars Ali, Sunil, Jaya Prakash, Banerjee, Raghu Babu, Satyam Rajesh, Madhu Nandhan, Bhupal, Chatrapathi Sekhar, Khayyum, Ee Rojullo Sai and Rupa in supporting roles. Shravan Bharadwaj is the music director of Katha Venuka Katha, with Ganganamoni Sekhar, Amar Reddy Kudumula and Venkat Salapu, providing cinematography, editing and production design for the film respectively.
