Sridevi Shoban Babu, an upcoming romantic comedy film starring Santosh Shoban and Gouri G Kishan has a new release date. The film, which was earlier slated for release on April 14 last year, will hit theatres on February 18, according to an official announcement made at a press conference.

The makers also released the promo of the film's second single Jhum Jhummandhi Le at the press conference. Sridevi Shoban Babu is the maiden production venture of Chiranjeevi’s older daughter and costume designer Sushmita Konidela, who will be producing this film under her banner Gold Box Entertainment. 

Sridevi Shoban Babu is written and directed by Prasanth Kumar Dimmala whose earlier works include  Bloody Mary starring Nivetha Pethuraj, and Shit Happens (2020), an Aha original web series. The music of the film is composed by Kamran, with cinematography by Siddharth Ramaswamy. The film's editing is done by Shashidhar Reddy and the production design is provided by Dattatreya.
