Payal Rajput's latest Mangalavaaram will be available to stream on Hotstar from December 26. Also starring Nandita Shwetha, the film marks the third directorial of Ajay Bhupathi, after RX100 and Maha Samudram.
Divya Pillai, Azmal, Ravindra Vijay, Krishna Chaitanya, Ajay Ghosh, Shravan Reddy and Sritej round out the supporting cast of Mangalavaaram. The film is set in a village. Mangalavaaram had a pan-Indian release on November 17 and opened to mixed reviews. It was titled Chovvazhcha in Malayalam, Mangalavaaram in Kannada and Chevvaikizhamai in Tamil.
Mangalavaaram is produced by Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M under the banners Mudhra Creative Works and A Creative Works respectively.
Mangalavaaram's music is composed by Kantara fame Ajaneesh B Loknath. Sivendra Dasaradhi is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Madhav Kumar Gullapalli and production design by Raghu Kulkarni.
