Earlier, we reported that Ravi Teja is reuniting with his Shock (2006) director Hari Shankar for another film. On Sunday, the makers announced that the film has been titled Mr Bachchan. 

Sharing the first look poster along with the title, actor Ravi Teja wrote on X, "Mr Bachchan Naam tho suna hoga. Honoured to play the character with the name of my favourite Amitabh Bachchan saab." (sic) In the poster, the actor has a getup resembling a young Amitabh, as he is seen seated on a scooter.

Bhagyashri Borse will be playing the female lead in this upcoming film, making her acting debut. TG Vishwa Prasad is backing the film under the People Media Factory banner. Vivek Kuchibhotla will serve as co-producer for Mr Bachchan.  

The plot and other cast details of Mr Bachchan are still kept under wraps. The film marks Ravi Teja's third collaboration with Hari Shankar after Shock and Mirpakay (2011).

Meanwhile, Ravi Teja is currently awaiting the release of Eagle, which is also backed by People Media Factory. The film, helmed by Karthik Gattamneni, is also set to release in Hindi as Sahadev.  Eagle will hit theatres on January 13, 2024, for Sankranti.
