Prime Video announces Vyooham, a new Telugu original

Producer Supriya Yarlagadda of Annapurna Studios, who was last seen backing Boys Hostel, the Telugu dubbed version of the Kannada campus entertainer Hostel Huduguru Bekagiddare, has produced Vyooham, a Prime Video original web series. 

Vyooham, a crime thriller, is directed by Sashikanth Srivaishnav Peesapati. The series stars Sai Sushanth Reddy (Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi, Thank You), Chaitanya Krishna (Mangalavaaram, Save The Tigers), Pavani Gangireddy (Save The Tigers), Ravindra Vijay (Keedaa Cola, Dhootha) and Shashank Siddamsetty (Aithe, Anukokunda Oka Roju) in pivotal roles. Vyooham is scheduled to premiere on December 14.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “Vyooham is an investigative crime thriller series that follows the story of a police officer. As he seeks justice, a complex array of suspects adds suspense, unveiling a mystery that challenges the officer and delves into his haunting past. With a captivating storyline and compelling performances, the series ensures a riveting experience, taking audiences through unexpected twists and turns.”

Vyooham is the third Telugu Prime Video Original to be released this year, after Nithya Menen’s Kumari Srimathi and  Vikram K Kumar’s Dhootha, which starred Naga Chaitanya, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Parvathy and Prachi Desai. Other Telugu originals in Prime Video's kitty are Modern Love: Hyderabad and Ammu.
