Kushi clears censorship formalities

The makers of Kushi announced on Wednesday that the upcoming rom-com has passed censorship formalities with a U/A certificate. Helmed by Shiva Nirvana, the film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha in lead roles. 

The music of the film is composed by Hridayam-fame composer Hesham Abdul Wahab. Kushi also stars Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Rohini Molleti, Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar and Saranya Pradeep in supporting roles. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.

Murali G is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Prawin Pudi and production design by Jayashree Lakshminarayan. Kushi is releasing on September 1 in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages, in addition to Telugu.
