Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej's Bro gets OTT release date

The film is directed by Samuthirakani

CE Features

Actor Pawan Kalyan's recent theatrical outing, Bro will be coming on the streaming giant Netflix on August 25. The film also stars Pawan Kalyan's nephew and actor Sai Dharan Tej in a significant role.

Bro, directed by Samuthirakani, hit the theatres on July 28 and has opened to mixed reception, "Bro is a remake of a Tamil feature that was once originally a play, but that never meant actors should stay in a single place, swapping the stage for endless green screen. Sai Dharam Tej is equally immobile in his acting, as he pantomimes in tandem with Pawan Kalyan's sluggish and disinterested demeanour," reads an excerpt of the CE review of the film.

Bro is backed by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory in collaboration with Zee Studios. Trivikram has written the screenplay and dialogues. While Pawan Kalyan was introduced as the titular character, Sai Dharam plays the role of Mark/Markandeyulu.

Bro also stars Ketika Sharma, Priya Prakash Varrier, Samuthirakani, Rohini, Rajeswari Nair, Tanikella Bharani, and Vennela Kishore, among others.

The film's technical crew comprises music composer S Thaman, cinematographer Sujith Vasudev, and editor Navin Nooli.
