Meher Ramesh calls Bholaa Shankar his dream come true

He took to his official X handle to pen a note about the Chiranjeevi-starrer

Chiranjeevi's latest outing, Bholaa Shankar has just hit the theatres. Even as reviews are pouring in, the director of the film Meher Ramesh has penned a note on getting the opportunity to direct a veteran like Chiranjeevi. 

Taking to his official X handle, Meher Ramesh wrote, "Bholaa Shankar- A film by Meher Ramesh. A dream-come-true to direct my inspiration, my guiding force, my Master, my Hero, my Matinee idol,  and the emperor of entertainment Chiranjeevi. ANNAYYA gratitude for the lifetime opportunity. My late parents' blessings. My wife & Dear daughter is my strength, my team is my support  & thanks to family, friends, and well-wishers for their love." (sic)

Also starring Tamannaah and Keerthy Suresh in key roles, Bholaa Shankar is the official Telugu remake of Ajith's Vedalam (2015) directed by Siva. Bholaa Shankar also stars Murali Sharma, Raghu Babu, Ravi Shankar, Vennela Kishore, Sreemukhi, Tulasi, Bithiri Sathi, Satya, Getup Srinu, Rashmi Gautam and Uttej in supporting roles.

The film is produced by Anil Sunkara, under the banner AK Entertainments. Veteran music composer Mani Sharma's son Mahati Swara Sagar is the music composer of Bholaa Shankar, with cinematography by Dudley, editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and production design by AS Prakash.

Meher has earlier directed films in Kannada and Telugu. His notable directorials include Billa, Shakti, Kantri and Veera Kannadiga, the Kannada remake of Andhrawala.
