Netflix announced that the recent Telugu film Rangabali, starring Naga Shaurya in the lead, is all set to premiere on the streaming platform on August 4. The film hit theatres on July 7 and opened to mixed reviews. 

Rangabali marks the debut directorial venture of Param Basamsetti. With the female lead being Yukti Thareja, the film also stars, Satya, Brahmaji, Goparaju Ramanna, Rajkumar Kasireddy and Kodati Pavan Kalyan. Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko also plays a key role in Rangabali. 

Set in the eponymous town of Rangabali, the importance of one's hometown is the core theme of the film. While Naga Shaurya plays a loafer who works in his father's pharmacy, Yukti plays the role of a doctor. 

Sudhakar Cherukuri has produced Rangabali under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Creations. The technical crew of the film consists of cinematographer Diwakar Mani, editor Karthika Srinivas R and music composer Pawan Kumar CH.
