Speculations are rife that filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, who last directed the Vijay Devarakonda-starrer Liger, will be directing the next film starring actor-filmmaker Vishwak Sen. However, there is no official announcement made regarding the same. 

It made be noted that Jagannadh's last outing also starring Ananya Panday, opened to poor reviews and subsequently underwhelming collections at the box office. Following that Jana Gana Mana, which was supposed to be his next starring Vijay Deverakonda and Pooja Hegde, got shelved. 

On the other hand, Vishwak Sen rose to fame in the 2018 coming-of-age feature Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. After making his directorial debut with Falaknuma Das, the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Angamaly Diaries, he recently made his second directorial Das Ka Dhamki and both films had him in the lead roles.
