In a surprising turn of events, the makers of NTR 30 have announced that actor Saif Ali Khan has joined the sets of the upcoming film.

NTR 30 has recently wrapped its first schedule, and has commenced its second schedule in Ramoji Film City. Saif Ali Khan joins fellow Hindi film actor Janhvi Kapoor on the sets of NTR 30. The latter plays the female lead.

NTR 30, starring Jr NTR in the lead role, is written and directed by Koratala Siva. The film is produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under the banners Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts respectively. The film is reportedly set in a fictitious island and port city. 

Anirudh is the music composer of NTR 30. The film's core technical crew comprises of Rathnavelu providing the cinematography, along with editing by A Sreekar Prasad, art direction by Sabu Cyril and action choreography by Kenny Bates.
