Vimanam first glimpse out

The film is set to hit the screens on June 9

The glimpse of Vimanam, an upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual film starring Samuthirakani, was unveiled on Friday. The film also features actor Meera Jasmine, in her comeback to Telugu cinema. It is set to release on June 9

The film is written and directed by Siva Prasad Yanala, with dialogues by Hanu Ravuri.

Samuthirakani plays Veerayya, a disabled middle-aged single parent in the film. Vimanam, jointly produced by Zee Studios and Kiran Korrapati, under the banner Kiran Korrapati Creative Works, also stars Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rahul Ramakrishna and Dhanraj in supporting roles. 

The promo shows a father and his 7-year-old son Raju talking about what a wish means to them. We see the father and his seven-year-old son Raju exchanging what a wish means to them. The child wants to fly high in a plane so that he gets to view the world from up above the sky. His father appreciates his wish although it is a dream they can't afford to fulfill owing to their poor economic status.

Charan Arjun is the music director of Vimanam, with cinematography by Vivek Kalepu, editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and production design by JK Murthy.
