First look of Jilebi out

K Vijaya Bhaskar launches his son Sree Kamal in his directorial

The first look and a glimpse of Jilebi, K Vijaya Bhaskar's upcoming film were unveiled on Thursday evening. Venkatesh Daggubati, who has starred in two of K Vijaya Bhaskar's films, namely Malliswari and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, was the guest of honour at the event.


Jilebi stars debutant Sree Kamal and Shivani Rajashekar in the lead roles. The film is produced by K Vijaya Bhaskar, Gunturu Rama Krishna and former TV actor Anju Asrani. The film is the maiden production venture of Rama Krishna and Anju Asrani. The music of Jilebi is composed by Mani Sharma. 

K Vijaya Bhaskar is a director most known for being the man behind successful, well-loved films like Nuvvu Naaku Nachav (2001), Manmadhudu (2002) and Malliswari (2004). He has also directed the Hindi feature Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003), a film that has launched actors Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh in the Hindi Film Industry. K Vijaya Bhaskar is also notably credited with launching the career of veteran writer-director Trivikram, who has written the scripts for Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, Malliswari and Manmadhudu.
