NTR Jr's Aadi to re-release on May 20

The film is getting an encore release on occasion of the actor's birthday

Aadi (2002), NTR Jr's cult action film will be re-released on May 20. The film, which also stars Keerthi Chawla, Ahuti Prasad, Chalapathi Rao, Rajan Dev, Ali, LB Sriram and Rajeev Kanakala, was written and directed by VV Vinayak. Aadi was VV Vinayak's debut directorial. It may be noted by Vinayak has also directed the Hindi remake of Chatrapathi, starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas, which will be releasing on May 12. 

Aadi was produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, with dialogues written by the Parachuri brothers. C Ramprasad handled cinematography, with Gautham Raju as the editor. Aadi, an action drama set in Rayalaseema, was a hugely successful film that ran in theatres for more than 100 days when it was first released. Aadi also won four Nandi awards.The film was remade in Tamil as Jai and in Bengali as Surya.
