Actor Satya Akkala has come onboard for the upcoming film starring Satyadev and Dhananjay, the makers announced on Friday.

Satya Akkala, who predominantly works in Telugu films, was recently seen in films like Krishna Vrinda Vihari, Karthikeya 2, Highway, among others. The actor's inclusion in the upcoming film came a few days after the makers announced that Sathyaraj, who was last seen in Prince, will be part of the film.

The yet-to-be-untitled film will be written and directed by Eashvar Karthic. Backed by Bala Sundaram and Dinesh Sundaram under the Old Town Pictures banner, the film marks the 26th venture for Satyadev and Daali Dhananjaya. Billed as a crime-action thriller, the film went on floors at the end of September. The makers noted that the filming is currently underway in an extravagant set in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad.

Earlier, the makers announced that there will be two heroines in Satyadev's upcoming film, and one of them is Priya Bhavani Shankar, who will be making her Telugu debut. She is said to play the role of a fashion designer in the film. While the film is shot by cinematographer Manikantan Krishnamachary, the music is composed by Charan Raj and Anil Krish handles the edits. Further details about the cast are yet to be announced.
