Ori Devuda clears censor formalities

Ori Devuda, the upcoming Tamil film starring Vishwak Sen and Mithila Palkar in the lead roles, has been certified U/A with the Censor Board. The film is set to release in theatres on October 21.

Ori Devuda is directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. The film is the remake of the director's Tamil film Oh My Kadavule. The original featured Ashok Selvan in the lead role, alongside Ritika Singh and Vani Bhojan. In the Telugu version, Vishwak Sen steps into the shoes of Ashok while Mithila Palkar will make her Telugu debut and essay Ritika's role. Vijay Sethupathi made a cameo appearance as God in Tamil, while Venkatesh Daggubati will come in guest role.

Backed by PVP Cinemas and Sri Venkateswara Creations, the music for Ori Devudu is composed by Leon James. Tharun Bhascker has written the dialogues. Oh My Kaduvule is a romantic fantasy, which opened to positive reception. The film tells the story of a modern couple, who makes every possible attempt to rediscover their true self in a strained relationship.
