Rajinikanth heaps praise on Chiranjeevi-Mohan Raja's Godfather

Chiranjeevi's latest film, Godfather, has been creating the right kind of noise at the box office since its release on October 5. The Mohan Raja directorial received a lot of appreciation from many quarters, and the latest to join the list of well-wishers is actor Rajinikanth. 

In a heartfelt note, Mohan Raja shared that he received a call from Rajinikanth who spoke very highly of the film. "Superstar watched Godfather. 'Excellent, very nice, very interesting' are a few of the remarks in his detailed appreciation of the adaptions made for the Telugu version. Thank u so much Thalaiva Rajinikanth sir, one of the best moments of my life. Means a lot," wrote Raja. 

Godfather, the official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, has Chiranjeevi stepping into the shoes of Mohanlal. The other cast members of Godfather include Nayanthara, Satyadev, and Puri Jagannadh.
