Chiranjeevi's GodFather mints Rs 38 crores on day 1

GodFather, the Chiranjeevi-starrer Telugu remake of the Malayalam film, Lucifer, has collected Rs 38 crore at the worldwide box office on its opening day, the makers announced on Thursday. 

The film was released in theatres worldwide on October 5 and received well by the audiences. Produced by Ram Charan, RB Choudary, and NV Prasad under the banners of Konidela Productions and Megaa Super Good Films, Salman Khan plays a crucial role in this big-ticket film with Nayanthara, Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev in pivotal roles. Chiranjeevi reprises Mohanlal’s role in GodFather. Directed by Mohan Raja, the political action film's technical crew includes cinematographer Nirav Shah, music composer SS Thaman and art director Suresh Selvarajan.
