Earlier this month, kickstarting the promotions, the makers of the Vijay-starrer Varisu released the first single from the film, Ranjithame, which has been received well by the audiences.

As the Vijay-starrer is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, Telugu fans have been long waiting to listen to the Telugu version of the same song. Now, the makers have released the lyrical video of Ranjithame from Vaarasudu.

The peppy Telugu number, Ranjithame, is composed by S Thaman and sung by Anurag Kulkarni and M M Manasi. The lyrics are written by Ramajogaiah Sastry. Varisu/Vaarasudu will release in theatres for Pongal/Sankranti 2023.

The lyrical video of the power-packed folk number features Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna dancing in the backdrop of flashy-dazzling sets. The dance is choreographed by Jani.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Vamshi has written the film along with Hari and Ashishor Solomon. The film has an ensemble star cast, including Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha and Samyuktha. The technical crew consists of Karthik Palani as cinematographer, with KL Praveen taking care of editing.
