Actor Karthik Raju, who awaits the release of Atharva, has signed his next. Written and directed by Anji Ram, the yet-to-be-titled film was launched on Friday in Hyderabad. The muhurat was attended by playback singer Mano, actor Akash Puri and lyric writer Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar among others.

"I liked the story that Anji Ram narrated to me and found it unique, so I decided to do it. I am confident that this film will not only do good to my career but will also be a different film in Telugu," says Karthik Raju.

The principal photography will commence later this week in Thailand. "The film is a romantic action thriller and is inspired by true events. It will be shot in a single uninterrupted schedule in Hyderabad and Bangkok, with the principal photography commencing in Phuket on November 14. The plan is to complete the entire shooting in 40 days and release the film early next year," says Dandamudi Aravind Kumar, the producer of the film.

Twarita Nagar is playing the female lead in the film which also features Ali, Nandini Rai, and Bhadram in supporting roles. The film has music by Anudeep Dev and dialogues written by Prabodh Damerla.
