Actor Ram Charan, who is still riding high on the success of his film RRR was recently in Japan, promoting the film. While he has become one of the sought after actors in the Telugu film industry, last year, the actor had also announced that he will be collaborating with Gowtam Tinnanuri of Jersey fame for a film.

However, as per latest reports, it is speculated that the project is now shelved. The film was initially planned to be backed by UV Creations. Neither Ram Charan, the director nor the production house have put out any statement about the current status of the project.  The film, which was dubbed as RC16, would have been his first collaboration with the actor.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Ram Charan is currently working with Shankar for a film tentatively titled RC15. The film will be a Tamil-Telugu-Hindi trilingual and will have Kiara Advani as the female lead. Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, RC15 also has the story written by Karthik Subbaraj. Ram Charan is also basking the success of RRR, his period action drama, co-starring Junior NTR under SS Rajamouli’s directorial.
