Thrigun's next titled Kirayi

The first look poster of the rustic entertainer was released by director Harish Shankar on Wednesday

Thrigun (earlier called Adith Arun), who awaits the release of Konda, will next be seen in a new film titled Kirayi. Directed by VRK, the film's first look poster was released by director Harish Shankar on the occasion of Thrigun's birthday on Wednesday.

Thrigun sports a thick beard and gives an intense stare as he perfectly slips into a rugged avatar for the rustic action entertainer. The poster also drops a hint that the actor plays a prisoner, who is on the run. Set in the period backdrop, the story revolves around a crime and is high on action.

"(Director) VRK has carried out extensive research by meeting several contract killers, who are serving their sentences in Cherlapally, Chanchalguda, and Guntur Sub Jails. The film showcases the life of a contract killer and we are trying to keep the treatment real," said Amulya Reddy Yalamuri, the producer of Kirayi.

The film has music by Hari Gowra and dialogues written by Bharath Kumar Pogula.
