Project K producer says no plans to halt shooting despite Producers' Guild decision

It was recently announced by Active Telugu Film producers’ Guild led by Dil Raju, that all the shootings for the film will be halted from August 1, until solutions were found for the changing revenue situations and increasing costs due to the pandemic. However, in the recent development, producer of Prabhas’ Project K, Ashwini Dutt, has refused to abide by the regulations.

While most of the film crew have chosen to abide by the resolution, Ashwini Dutt has claimed in a media interview that Dil Raju is someone who perplexes the moviegoers with his gimmicks. "He will first increase ticket prices before promoting the film at a reduced price," Ashwini said.

"We won't halt any filming, and our projects won't follow Dil Raju's regulations. We'll keep shooting," he added.

Project K is expected to be a sci-fi thriller and also stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. It is directed by Nag Ashwin. Ashwini Dutt had earlier revealed that the film will release either on October 18, 2023, or January 2024 in India. The makers are eyeing to release it in China, USA, and other international markets.
