Dulquer Salmaan's 'Sita Ramam' gets U certificate

The film is set to release on August 5

Sita Ramam, the upcoming multi-lingual film starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandana, has been censored with U certification, the makers announced on Thursday.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is backed by Aswini Dutt under the Swapna Cinema banner and presented by Vyjayanthi Movies. Sita Ramam is a romantic period drama set between the 60s and 80s. The film also stars actors from various industries, including Gautham Menon,  Tharun Bhascker, Sumanth and Bhumika Chawla, among others. The technical crew consists of cinematography by PS Vinod and Vishal Chandrashekhar on the music. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor. Sita Ramam is made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. It is slated for release on August 5.
