We had previously reported that actor Ravi Teja has joined forces with director Sudheer Varma for a quirky entertainer titled Ravanasura. The film was launched on Friday on the occasion of Bhogi and the muhurat was attended by Cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Chiranjeevi, Raghavendra Rao, BVSN Prasad among others. 

Produced by Abhishek Nama, the film also features Sushanth Anumolu, Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Daksha Nagarkar, Poojitha Ponnada, and Faria Abdullah in prominent roles. 

In the film, Ravi Teja plays a lawyer and his role has ten different shades on the lines of the antagonist of the Hindu epic Ramayana. The principal photography will commence later this month and the makers are planning to release Ravanasura on September 30. 

Besides Ravanasura, Ravi Teja will also be seen in Khiladi, Ramarao On Duty, Dhamaka, Tiger Nageswara Rao and Waltair Veerayya.
