Teja Sajja shoots for an underwater sequence in HanuMan

The superhero film is directed by Prashant Varma

We had previously reported that Teja Sajja will be headlining a superhero film titled HanuMan, directed by Prashant Varma of Awe-fame. The makers of the project have now announced that the film will feature an elaborate underwater sequence and shared images from the production of the sequence. In one of the images, the lead actor can be seen sporting bruises, getting ready for the shot surrounded by divers.

The film stars Amrita as the female lead, while Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, Vinay Rai, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vennela Kishore star in supporting roles. Conceived as the first in a planned superhero universe, the film is produced by K Niranjan Reddy through his production house, PrimeShow Entertainment.

The film has music by GowraHari, Anudeep Dev, and Krishna Saurabh while Shivendra is serving as the director of photography. The film is yet to get a release date. Teja Sajja was last seen in Ishq: Not a Love Story, the remake of the 2019 Malayalam film by the same name.
